Sewer Lining Services
Hidden pipes can develop cracks or holes, or get loose from their joints, so water seeps out of them, damaging the surrounding soil or the walls they are running through. This can lead to corrosion, root intrusion, and other serious damage to your pipes causing an expensive headache for your home or business.
It is an expensive, disruptive, and impractical solution to dig up your pipes to locate a leak, then remove the damaged pipe, and replace it with a new pipe. It typically involves extensive excavation, large costs, and you may be required to move out of your home for a period of time.
At Rapid Plumbing we have been in the business of finding solutions to your pipe problems for over 30 years, and are proud to offer high-quality work at competitive rates. If you are having pipe trouble, contact us anytime many of our locations feature 24 hours service. Our team of experts will visit and explain the problem to you, offering a detailed estimate before work begins.
First of all, a closed-circuit camera helps the technicians take a look at the interior of the sewer, which will allow them to identify the problem – whether it is a crack, hole or gap. They will then locate problem spot with the help of an above-ground handheld device that receives signals transmitted by the underground camera.
If the problem stems from a damaged pipe, cleaning it alone will not be a sufficient solution. Water seeping out of sewer damages the surrounding area, and plugging the leak as soon as possible has to be a priority.
With the help of modern technology, fixing sewers is now a quick, non-disruptive procedure. When our technicians have identified the fault, they will first clean the pipe thoroughly with the help of hydro-jetting, so no dirt remains inside the pipe. Next, they will insert a resin into the pipe, and blow it up, so it completely covers the crack or the hole, or even the gap formed between two pipes.
If we find that the sewer line has collapsed completely, we will use the “outward fracturing” method where the resin is threaded through the length of the broken pipe and then blown up. This pushes the broken pipe outward, so it shatters, leaving behind space filled by the resin. The resin thus forms an all-new pipe in place of the old one.
The resin cured in place with the help of hot water, steam or ambient cure. Once dry, it becomes a waterproof material harder than concrete. It does not affect the flow of matter through the pipe, as a mere ¼ reduces the diameter of the entire pipe”. This lining is very smooth, so waste flows through it has no place to accumulate, and the pipe remains clear for a long time.
There is no need to stress over pipe problems anymore – we are here to take care of it for you at low cost, with minimal disruption to the premises and your routine. Go ahead, try us and you’ll be glad you did.
